What is Compositionally Inclined?

Compositionally Inclined is a newsletter that showcases highlights in art, photography, fashion, and creative direction. Serving as the more expansive extension of the @composition Instagram page, this newsletter will deliver the most attention-grabbing highlights of art and commerce directly to your inbox.

Written by myself, Everett, the founder of Composition, I will be sure to deliver the most enthralling contemporary art and cultural analysis on the internet. There will also be occasional guest writers, who will add their unique insight or expertise on specific topics, through the lens of contemporary art.

I went to school for Graphic Design, where I began to discover my inclination for visual mediums. I graduated in May 2023 and now work as a consultant for content and creative services. Composition started as a side project to organize my visual inspirations my freshman year of college, and has evolved since then as a full-on media operation around contemporary art, photography, and culture.

Here, I will be going much more in-depth about the projects we feature as well as synthesizing my personal perspective throughout the various rabbit holes I find myself in.

  • Includes a full feature carousel, write-up, and tags to your profile, and anything else you would like to highlight.

  • Annual members who are selected for a feature have the option to choose a collaboration post on Instagram when the feature goes live. This is not an option for month-to-month members. Monthly members will receive a standard tag if selected for a standalone feature.

  • Feature consideration requires an active paid subscription on the day a feature is scheduled to post. If your subscription is canceled beforehand, your feature will be placed on hold until you resubscribe.

• A guaranteed feature spot in our monthly community post (with links to your website, project, and profile). Sent directly to the inbox of our ~13k subscribers.

  • Each member can submit unlimited projects for a feature each month.

  • Members can submit individual works, bodies of work, or an overall selection of their work for a feature.

  • Each subscriber is eligible for one feature each month. Up to 12 project features per year. This depends on the current queue of submissions at the time the project is submitted. Composition retains editorial discretion on when to feature the artist after their first feature has been published.

  • Each Spotlight edition covers all projects submitted the month prior to the month that the edition is published. For example, if you submit work on September 1st, you will be featured in the October Edition, not September’s.

  • The guaranteed Spotlight feature requires an active paid subscription on the day that month’s Spotlight is scheduled to post. If your subscription is canceled beforehand, the feature will be placed on hold until you resubscribe.
